Kim, the human girl, is also concerned about the state of her beloved ocean and decides to take action. With courage, a little magic, and a lot of love for life, they work together to bring about positive change in this world. Author Sophia Brucklacher and illustrator Jan Anderson knew each other from their school days in Stuttgart. Both share a love of nature, especially the ocean, and of creating magical worlds for children.
